We were with friends. You were telling them about the place and event we both went to the other day.
“What was the name of the game we played?” you asked. I said I could not remember. “Remember that girl we met, where did she work?” I can’t remember. And it went on. Every time you asked me about any details of the day, I couldn’t remember it.
Finally you looked at me, puzzled, and asked, “What do you remember?”
“That I was with you, the whole day. It was wonderful.”
